Did you know Mussels are best available in the months with the letter R in them. Mussels should be bright, clean and tightly closed with no broken shells. Archaeological findings suggest that they have been used for food for over 20,000 years! They are high in B12 vitamins and contain a good percentage of iron, magnesium, and zinc.
Cook it: Chuck them in a big boiling pot for 3 minutes. Stir and sprinkle with parsley and serve with skinny chips. Perfection!
